Alien Scouting Missions are the first kind of missions the Aliens will launch. Low key and of little threat to anyone they are simple scouting missions aimed at learning more about a region.
These missions are benign and harmless in nature, they generate no events, do not affect relations over the targeted region nor affect the invasion ticker. They also never have any included escorts to protect them or ever land.
