Description[]
The Laser Rifle is a versatile two-handed weapon that can deal with most battlefield situations. It causes average damage per shot and is accurate even at range, and it can fire both single shot and 3 round bursts. Compared to the Ballistic Rifle, it is more powerful and has a longer range, but has a smaller ammo capacity and is heavier. Most strike teams should contain at least some soldiers armed with rifles (backed up by more specialist weapons), as they are the best all-around weapon for the mid game.
