Description[]
The Precision Laser is a two-handed sniper weapon that can reliably hit enemies at great range. It has high armor mitigation and causes a lot of damage per shot, but it has a high AP cost associated with firing each shot and cannot burst fire. In comparison to the Ballistic Rifle, it is more powerful (with better mitigation) but heavier and with a smaller ammo capacity. The Precision Laser is a useful tool for engaging distant enemy troops from relative safety. Its strong armor penetration allows tough enemy units to be quickly neutralized. However, the weapon is of limited use in a close range / assault capacity, suffering from a 50% penalty to reaction fire and gaining no accuracy from engaging in close quarters.
