Medals

Throughout a Xenonaut operative's time in the field they may be awarded medals for preforming notable feats and actions in the course of duty. As well as adding a sense of individuality these medals are displayed on the soldiers info screen and give a small 1+ boost in Morale each. Service Medals stack 3 times, for a 3+ Boost to Bravery.

	Service Medal	"Awarded for active participation in ten combat missions." [Service Medal]
	Long Service Medal	"Awarded for active participation in twenty combat missions." [Service Medal - Replaces Service Medal]
	Distinguished Service Medal	"Awarded for active participation in thirty combat missions." [Service Medal - Replaces Long Service Medal]
	Order of Gallantry	"Awarded for elimination of five extraterrestrial units in combat." [Service Medal]
	Order of Merit	"Awarded for elimination of ten extraterrestrial units in combat." [Service Medal - Replaces Order of Gallantry]
	Order of Terra	"Awarded for elimination of twenty extraterrestrial units in combat." [Service Medal - Replaces Order of Merit]
	Citation for Valor	"Awarded for valor demonstrated in combat during the successful capture of an alien base." [Must perform at least 1 action during a successful Alien Base Assault]
	Citation for Courage	"Awarded for courage demonstrated in combat during the successful defense of a city against extraterrestrial terror forces."' [Must perform at least 1 action during a successful Xenonaut ground combat intervention against an Alien Terror Mission]
	Citation for Bravery:	"Awarded for bravery demonstrated in combat during the successful defense of an Xenonaut facility against an extraterrestrial ground assault." [Must perform at least 1 action during a successful Defense of a Xenonaut Base]
	Crimson Heart	"Awarded for suffering a serious wound in the service of humanity." [Suffer a HP loss of more than 50% in a single mission.]
	Military Cross	"Awarded for eliminating five alien combatants in a single operation." [Kill at least 5 aliens in a single ground combat mission.]
	Crux Solaris	"Awarded for successful capture of a live alien command unit." [The capture of a live alien Leader or higher. Officers do not count.]
	Survival Medal	"Awarded for fortitude shown in successful completion of a mission when all other operatives had been killed or incapacitated." [Successfully complete a ground mission with at most 1 Xenonaut. This will be awarded even if only 1 Xenonaut was sent in alone.]
	Savior Medal	"Awarded for neutralizing an extraterrestrial psionic unit controlling a fellow Xenonaut operative."

Notes

• At least 1 action for the Participation Medals generally means anything that would earn the Xenonaut a statistic boost (like training accuracy, strength), merely surviving such a mission while idle does not automatically grant the Xenonaut this medal.
• In addition, the participation medals are only awarded for the specific ground combat scenario. Preventing their mission from even taking place by shooting down an alien ship that was on it's way to assault a Xenonaut base or perform a terror attack against a city does not grant this medal.
