An Alien Bombing Run is performed in the mid to late stages of the invasion, and represents a shift in the intensity of the alien's ground attack patterns. A UFO specialized to perform bombing attacks will select a region of the planet and begin attacking ground targets at will with heavy and powerful bombs, causing massive amounts of casualties and severally damaging Xenonauts reputation with the victim region.
Some bombing runs might escalate to a outright Terror Mission against a city, which if not stopped will end up destroying the entire city.
Alien Bombing Run missions are available from the third month of the invasion.
